The key to our Hiking and Trekking Adventures is we get you in fantastic, out-of-the-way places to journey and explore, without having to carry more than a daypack. Our Hiking tours return to the same inn or hotel we started from that day. Trekking tours, on the other hand, move from one lodging to the next - mostly via inns but on some tours (like the Inca Trail) with luxury camping.

Biking is perhaps the perfect speed to see the world. It is fast enough to get you from one place to the next and slow enough so you don't miss the sights, sounds, and people of a local area. Even if you are not a regular biker, you'll do fine with our multiple route options and van support. We've also added more e-biking options to our tours so more travelers can join and go an extended distance or try more effortless riding (especially up the hills) then e-biking is for you!

Our Exploratory Adventures are first-run tours to less-traveled destinations in small groups, generally led by our founder and owner Allan Wright. These tours with group sizes from 4 - 10 people are fully set up and ready to go. However, they are also the first time we have run a tour in that specific location, which tends to make it more adventurous. We pick locations that are off the beaten tourist path, such as countries that are not even on your travel list (but should be!) or locations most people don't visit within otherwise popular destinations.
