Zephyr Adventures Alumni Benefits

Once you’ve taken a trip with Zephyr Adventures (or our sister companies, Taste Vacations and Travel Montana) you automatically become part of our Alumni Club and receive Zephyr Adventures alumni benefits.

After you have participated in 20 trip days with any of our three companies you are automatically elevated to our High Roller Club and are eligible for additional benefits. There is nothing you need to pay or do to join and the benefits are great.  We want to keep you as our travel partners!  We are proud and grateful that, on average, over 70% of our tour participants have traveled with us before.  We especially appreciate those who return time and again.

Two Ways to Save

  • Alumni Discount
    Save 10% on any Zephyr Adventures, Taste Vacations, or Travel Montana public group trip the following year when you book by October 31. Excludes Private Adventures.
  • Multiple Trip Discount
    Book more than one adventure in the same year and get 10% off your second (or third…or fourth!) public group trip with any of our companies. Cannot be combined with other discounts.

Refer-A-Friend(s): Share the Adventure, Earn Rewards

We like you.  We think we’d like your friends, too.  We know that great adventures are even better when shared, so that’s why we hope you’ll be inspired by our Refer-A-Friend Program—a simple way to share your love of travel (and both you and the new travelers get rewarded)! Your endorsement means the world to us, and we’d like to thank you in return.

  • We Appreciate You
    As a “thank you,” when you refer a friend to book one of our tours, you’ll receive a $100 credit toward your next trip. The more people you recommend, the more credit you earn.
  • ‘Welcome’ to Your Friends
    When you refer a traveler to us, your friend(s) will also receive a $100 credit on their first tour. It’s our way of saying “we’re happy you’re here” because we know they’ll be our friends soon, too!


A few rules apply: 1) Your $100 credit can be applied to a tour after your friends have paid in full.
2) Your friend cannot already be in our database (meaning they don’t currently receive emails or information from us). Private and hosted tours are not eligible for Refer-a-Friend (RAF) bonuses.

Learn more and simply share your friend’s contact info with us via the Refer-a-Friend page, and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll introduce them to our incredible tours and help them find the perfect adventure.

Be the First to Know

You’ll be the first to know when we set our new tour dates.  You’ll receive an invitation to join our Zephyr Alumni Neighborhood on Facebook. You’ll also receive our alumni email newsletters or mailings, so you’ll always be up to date about the goings-on at Zephyr.

Priority Status

If you are on the waiting list for any tour that is full, you will automatically be put ahead of those who have never traveled with us.

High Roller Club Benefits

Thank You Gifts

When you reach the “milestones” of 20, 35, 60, and 100 tour days, you’ll receive a small but useful gift from us, ranging from a cool hat to a hoodie, to a new hydration system, to a free domestic trip of your choice. (Okay, that last one isn’t so small, but it IS useful!) Please note that hosted tours do not count toward High Roller gifts.

The Best Rooms

Some hotels have upgraded rooms within our reservation.  We put our High Rollers in the best available rooms.

The Most Flexible Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel a trip, but give us at least 31 days or more advance notice, you can apply all payments made to another adventure in the same or next two calendar years, less any fixed costs we have incurred. (Please note: some adventures, where we have non-refundable deposits, are an exception to this policy – see individual tours for details.) 

Front of the Line

If a tour is full, you are automatically bumped up to the top of the waiting list if someone cancels.

You’re on Board

As a High Roller, you will be part of our unofficial Board of Directors.  We are always looking for feedback as a way to improve our operations, and we’ll include you in our two-minute email surveys or perhaps ask you to participate in a telephone survey or focus group if you are willing.  This is your chance to affect our future direction.
