The European Union has announced today (5/19/21) that they have agreed to allow quarantine-free travel for vaccinated tourists and visitors from countries considered safe. American travelers who have received vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson will not have to quarantine before or after arriving in Europe. The approval of this proposal will be finalized this week and plans on how this will be rolled out country-by-country are expected to follow. (You can read the full article here.)
Europe to reopen for travel is great news! We are eager to hear what the details are for entry but we can most likely assume that the digital green certificate indicating that you are fully vaccinated will be expanded to include U.S. citizens, making it easy to provide proof of vaccine without having to hang on to your paper vaccine card everywhere you go.
In hopes that this would be the case, we had rescheduled our European tours from last year to this coming fall. If you are ready to start planning your travel, we have spaces available on the following trips:
- Germany: Bavaria Hiking & Beer Adventure – September 11 – 17, 2021
- Italy: Puglia Biking & E-Biking Adventure – October 17 – 22, 2021
- Italy: Tuscany Walking Adventure – October 24 – 20, 2021
Or you can book your own private tour where can you gather your group and choose your own dates.
We’d love to have you join us and resume doing what we love to do most – exploring the world and prioritizing adventure!
