We would like to propose to you that our Montana Family Vacation scheduled for June 27 – July 1 is your best bet for a safe, fun, and educational family vacation in 2021. And thanks to our horse camp operator working a little magic, we now have space for one more family!
Mandatory COVID Vaccination or Negative PCR Test
We will require all adults and children to be vaccinated against or have a negative PCR test result for COVID-19. This will allow us more security to act as our own “travel bubble”. We know this is an extra layer of preparation which requires effort on your part but believe it will contribute greatly to our ability to provide a safe environment
Our Own Travel Bubble
Neither vaccinations nor negative PCR results are foolproof. Someone in our group could still be infected upon arrival. But it vastly reduces the risk of this. And once we are on the tour, we will isolate our group and have only limited contact with others outside our group. For example, we’ll eat all meals outside if possible.
Masks and Social Distancing
Our experience is that kids are pretty good at wearing masks and pretty bad at social distancing. We recognize this and will ask everyone to wear masks when we are tightly grouped together. Plus, we’ll have a lot more confidence in our group since even the kids were tested in advance.
Will It Work?
We have already safely run two Montana trips this year. Major professional sports organizations have shown that proper testing and safety protocols work. Many schools have found they can operate safely. Often the highest risk in these situations is not what happens within the organization but when a player or student is outside. On our family tours, we have the structure to ensure we all arrive safely and stay safe while in Montana.
Our family tours are fun! Joining families into one vacation might sound like a lot of work but the reality is the kids bond incredibly quickly and love sharing the amazing experiences on our tour. Adults find themselves relaxing and enjoying their own vacation rather than worrying about driving and decision making. And in 2021, our Montana family vacation might be the answer to your vacation needs.
