Vermont is an amazing place with low population density, outstanding scenery, beautiful mountains, cute small towns, agriculture products galore, and welcoming people. We have added two (and sort of a third) Vermont getaways to our 2021 schedule. And while it is indeed silly we have not run tours there before, we are happy to correct this by offering the following in 2021:
Vermont Biking Adventure
From September 25 – 29, we gather for a Vermont Biking Adventure in the beautiful – and relatively flat – Champlain Valley south of Burlington. We have structured this tour to be inn-to-inn, so you never have to get in a van shuttle. The tour offers cute small towns, great restaurants (with outdoor seating), and moderate riding with enough distance for stronger cyclists. Our inns are sometimes small so this tour has limited capacity.
Vermont Walking Adventure
From October 11 – 15, we have created a fall foliage Vermont Walking Adventure. The routes are flexible enough for those of you looking to walk on relatively flat ground or hike uphill and to get less or more mileage. We have chosen two amazing small towns for this tour: the mountain village of Stowe and Vermont’s most famous college town, Middlebury. We are in the midst of fall foliage, so the scenery should be amazing and the weather cool but perfect for exercising outdoors.
Vermont Bike, Hike, & Beer Adventure
We have created a third new tour in Vermont for 2021, a private Bike, Hike, & Beer Adventure with our friend Brad at Brew Your Own Magazine. This tour involves stays in Burlington, Stowe, and Middlebury; two bike rides, two hikes, and an optional mountain biking day; and visits to about a dozen craft breweries. Brad is local to Vermont and a craft beer expert, so will be a valued host on this tour.
We hope you can join us for a Vermont getaway in 2021!
