As you may already know Zephyr Adventures not only provides active vacations but also organizes annual conferences for the wine, beer, food, and fitness industries. This benefits our tours as we stay very well connected and have friends in locations that we visit, giving us insider knowledge and a better understanding of new trends occurring in the region, “can’t miss” attractions/activities to include in our itineraries, and the best places to eat, drink, and have fun in any given area.
This coming July, Zephyr will be hosting the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference in Asheville, NC, or as some call it the Beer City in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
According to Explore Asheville, the tourism organization for the city, Asheville boasts more breweries per capita than any other US city. They have over 20 craft breweries in the Asheville area. They also have several beer festivals throughout the year, brewery tours of all kinds, including by foot, car or mega-bike, and tasty craft brew-infused food purveyors. Talk about a perfect place to visit for any beer lover!

So happy to see that you are going to Asheville for beer! And if you pick up some Broo shampoo, the founding ingredients are Highland Brewing St. Terese’s Pale Ale and Oatmeal Porter.
Thanks Mary – we’ll have to check it out when we’re there!
Asheville is such a great little city! The beer, the food, the hiking, the Parkway! I’m sure the Conference will be a smashing success. Wish I was a beer blogger… 😉
Thanks Natalie! We’re excited to be hosting in such a great city!
