Our Yellowstone Winter Adventure that features cross-country skiing and snowshoeing was recently featured in Shape Magazine’s website as one of “7 Travel Destinations That Answer the Call of the Wild”. This is the third press mention we have had in 10 days!
The Yellowstone Winter Adventure is truly an awesome and unique active vacation. Yellowstone is, in our opinion, probably the greatest national park in the world. In the winter, it is even more special because the park is closed to cars, open only via Snowcoach, and thus much less touristed than in the summer months.
Another benefit of Yellowstone in the winter is that snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, our two forms of both locomotion and activity, offer much more freedom then the hiking we like to do in the summer. The beauty of skiing or snowshoeing is we do not actually have to stay on the trails, allowing us to head up an appealing ravine, climb to the top of a nearby knoll, or sometimes even skirt a lone bison foraging for grass under the snow.
Come join us this February 22-26, 2015. We have only four spots remaining on this trip!
