Cyril Vidergar lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. As an Eagle Scout and backpacker, Cyril found a natural fit with guiding backcountry, big wall climbing, and canyoneering trips throughout California and the southwest before attending graduate school. In the last decade, Cyril has focused on long-distance endurance and multi-day adventures from ultra marathons to hut-to-hut gravel and single track bike routes in Colorado and Utah, as well as the Triple Bypass road ride and self-supported bikepacking across Colorado. Off the bike, for thirteen years he has also shared his passion as a homebrewer and trained beer judge though his monthly column in Northern Colorado newspapers.
