Your Own Private Group Adventures
While meeting other participants is an important part of our tours, it can be just as rewarding to travel in the company of your family or friends. That is where our Private Group Adventures come in.
Private Adventures are the same adventure tours we always run but with a new date set up just for your group. In 2010 we are coordinating a biking tour in Provence for a group of American women living in London, a hiking tour in Burgundy for a group of wine lovers in California, a Chile & Argentina Wine Vacation for Christopher's Wine & Cheese shop, and a biking tour in Umbria, Italy for the St. John's Wood Women's Club. We require 10 participants at a minimum and if you reach 14 participants, each of your members will receive a 10% group discount off the normal price. Just call or email us to begin the conversation.
Private Treks are an option if you wish to take one of our Trekking Adventures but the date doesn't work for you. With a group as small as two, you can sign up for our Tibet Trek or any of a number of treks on various trails in Peru. We won't send a Zephyr guide with you but our in-country partners will take care of you just like they do for our groups. See our Private Treks page for details and to reserve your trek. Custom Adventures are adventure tours we set up exclusively for your group that are outside our standard itineraries. For example, we set up a five-day multisport vacation in the backcountry of Montana for 14 guys all approaching the landmark age of 30. We can set up tours of almost any activity and location you choose. Because of the personal attention we provide in setting up your trip, Custom Adventures are priced at a higher amount per day than our fixed departure tours. In addition, we require a minimum of 10 participants and a non-refundable deposit before we spend significant time creating your journey.
Self-Guided Tours in Italy are a very unique vacation idea where you select one of our pre-set biking, hiking, or driving tours in the beautiful provinces of Tuscany and Umbria. We set up your lodging, routes, equipment, and luggage transfer. We even provide you with a pre-programmed Portable Media Player so you'll have your own virtual guide with you.
