We have been teaching people to inline skate since our very first skate tour in 1997. The reality is skating is a sport where most people need some instruction to get started. We recognized that and started running Skate Camps for beginners in 2000.

In 2006, we expanded our skating instruction to include Camp Rollerblade weekends in locations throughout the country. In 2007, we expanded again to create Zephyr Camp Snowboard - two day weekend camps where adults and families can learn to snowboard.

Both snowboarding and inline skating are fantastic sports. They are good aerobic workouts, work the major muscle groups, and are soft on the knee and leg joints. Studies have also shown them to be much safer than many people realize, especially given the proper instruction and safety equipment. Best of all, both snowboarding and skating are fun!

These camps are designed for adults, although kids are welcome if accompanied by a participating adult. We start by teaching the basics and progress from there. You learn at your own speed as you feel comfortable with each new skill.  We also hire only expert instructors who know exactly what you need to learn to improve.
