Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in Southern Utah are two of the most scenic national parks in the United States. Either one would make a fantastic vacation but their proximity to each other allow us to combine them into one amazing family tour.

Bryce Canyon is known for its fascinating hoodoos (pictured here), columns of rock formed via hard "cap stones" that don't erode easily. It also is void of much artificial light, making the stars jump out of the nighttime sky.

Zion National Park is perhaps even more famous. It's unique geological makeup creates colorful sandstone cliffs towering over slot canyons that are perfect for adventuring.

We spend our days hiking in the slot canyons, playing in the swimming pool, and learning about the area's geology and nature. We ride via mules through the backcountry and go with a professional canyoneering guide through narrow slot canyons your kids will remember forever. As always on our Zephyr Family Tours, we sometimes eat as one big group (like at a chuckwagon dinner) while, at other times, we split the adult and kids.

Most importantly, we make sure everyone is having fun - kids and adults. This tour is recommended for families with kids aged seven and up. Adults with or without families will love the tour. For an outstanding vacation in one of nature's most exotic locations, come join us in Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks!

Youth Prices
Kids aged 17 and under will receive a discount of 15% if they stay in a room with their parent (s). Age is determined as of the start date of the adventure.  If you require a separate room for your kids, the standard adult price applies.

Accommodations
We stay our first two nights in Ruby's Inn, located in Bryce Canyon City just outside the park. Operating since the early 1900s, the hotel is in a perfect location for us to visit the park and prides itself on being a family-friendly accommodation. We then switch to the Desert Pearl Inn, located in Springdale, Utah just outside Zion National Park. The rooms at the Inn are upscale but still family friendly, with kitchen facilities and lots of space.
