Lake Tahoe is the pearl of California's Sierra Nevada mountain range. The deepest alpine lake in the United States, its scenery, geography, and weather make the Lake Tahoe area the recreation spot of choice for the entire region.
We spend five days in the Tahoe area and experiment with a variety of activities including inline skating or road biking, hiking, lake kayaking, and mountain biking. The hiking takes place in the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range while the biking/Rollerblading takes place on paved and mostly flat paths along the shores of Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River. The mountain biking is on a fantastic trail network and the kayaking takes place on Lake Tahoe itself.
Multisport tours are extremely popular with some of our tour participants as they allow you to try new activities you might not otherwise try. Plus, you can use one set of muscles one day and a completely new set the next. If you enjoy inline skating but also like other sports, this would be a great tour choice for you.
Accommodations
We stay all four nights at the trendy and luxurious PlumpJack Inn.
Named for a Shakespearian character, the PlumpJack sits right at the
base of the Squaw Valley ski area. Gaze at the stars or the towering
mountains from the comfort of the inn's outdoor hot tub or heated pool.
You will love not having to pack and repack during the trip!
