Rafa is the local expert on our Spanish Wine Adventures.  Born and raised in the city of Bilbao, Rafa loves to get out into the country - on a bike, on foot, or however. In recent years he has become more and more fascinated with the local wine scene, corresponding with the change in Spanish wine from "just the daily drink for men with their meals" (Rafa's words) to the modern, high-quality production that exists today.
