Join our fabulous 5 day Idaho Skate Tour and let us help you discover one of the most spectacular inline skating trails in the world; the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Nestled in northern Idaho, this 73-mile paved trail skirts rivers and lakes and steers free and clear of all roads. You’ll also have the pleasure of zipping along the historic Centennial Trail. Charming towns, a treasure of natural beauty and interesting history round-out this five day inline skating excursion.
“There were many favorite moments, but gliding around a bend on silk pavement and seeing the lake filled with vivid pink water lilies was breathtaking!” (Susan S.)
Your first three days are spent exploring the famous Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Originally a foot path traversed by the Coeur d’Alene Indians, then an important rail line, and even a gold mining mecca, the trail is now an oasis for inline skaters. You’ll meander from high mountain grandeur through historic towns and along the shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Along the way you’ll likely meet some of the region’s most friendly folks.
Next, you will enjoy two days skating the Centennial Trail, which runs 53 miles from Spokane, Washington to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and the Fish Lake Trail near Spokane. You’ll rest, relax and rejuvenate with much deserved rest in the historic mining town of Wallace, Idaho and the riverside town of Post Falls, Idaho.
Northern Idaho is packed full of Mother Nature’s beauty. Thick forests, rambling rivers, and spacious lakes will have you asking yourself why you haven’t explored this paradise sooner. If you are ready for some of the best skating you have ever experienced, come join us in September on this fabulous skate tour!
