Hilton Head Camp Rollerblade
This Camp Rollerblade adventure has two aims: to improve your skating and for you to have fun doing it!
Hilton Head Island is not only a premier vacation destination off the coast of South Carolina, it is also a perfect place to inline skate (or rollerblade) in a fun, safe, relaxed environment.
It is a small island (only five miles wide and twelve miles long), famous for its beaches, southern culture, and fantastic services. Hilton Head also makes for a fantastic skating destination — the island offers 23 miles of public and pristine paved pathways, and another 15 miles of private paved trails in the resort community where we stay.
The entire trip was wonderful!! The instructors were excellent and the group mixed very well. (Yvonne M.)
Instruction
We have a mix of skating instruction sessions taught by our professional instructors, who are some of the best in the world at what they do. You will start with the absolute basics and develop your skills from there. For those of you who already skate but need to work on your more advanced skills, we’ll help you master your stride, turning, and (most importantly) braking.
But there’s more than just skating! We’ll also bike, kayak, and relax on the beach. You truly can’t go wrong with this trip if you enjoy warm weather, skating and water. It will be the highlight of your year.
Accommodations
Our Camp Rollerblade lodging on Hilton Head is the Sea Pines Resort, which offers not only fantastic villas but a separate trail system just for visitors of the resort. Our villas are two-bedroom units with either one or two beds per room, allowing us to house up to four people per villa. Our participants agree this is an excellent way to share the joy of learning to skate with your compatriots while still having enough personal space.

Great holiday and wonderful instructors! I became more confident on skates and plan to do the Florida skating adventure. Everything was well-organized and fun!
at my age 62, overweight(will not tell), with only the ability to skate forward and not stop, I questioned my sanity in signing up for camp rollerblade. I have been bragging ever since I got back. excellent instructors, nice, nice people to learn with, and my co-workers now consider me a risk taker. Yes!!!
This tour was alot of fun – plenty of laughter along with very patient and caring instructors
Camp rollerblade was phenomenal! The group was great…the pre-planned dinners were fabulous…and the instructors were out of this world!
