We will send you detailed information about the tour in a Pre-Departure Packet once we reach the minimum of ten participants.
What is the weather going to be like?
The average high temperature April in Healdsburg is 72 degrees Fahrenheit, with an overnight low of 44 degrees. April is the turning point between the rainier winter and the dry summer but it only rains on an average of six days in the month.
What is the best way to get to the Adventure and where do we meet?
We will meet you at San Francisco International Airport and make the two-hour drive to Geyserville. We will drop you off in San Francisco at the end of the trip, either at the airport or downtown. If you will be driving or arriving early, we can meet you at our hotel, where you can leave your car for the weekend.
What should I do if I want to extend my vacation in the area?
See San Francisco! Visit Napa! Tour the area! San Francisco is a fantastic city worth a few days of your time. You could also rent a car and see the Napa Valley, equally famous for its wine. Other things you might want to do in the area are driving up the northern Pacific coast, spending some time in the Sierra Nevada mountains, or visiting Yosemite National Park.
Do I need to be a wine expert to enjoy this tour?
You definitely don’t need to be a wine expert to enjoy this tour. In fact, you don’t even need any knowledge of wines at all. All you need is an open mind, an ability to discern what you like and don’t like, and an adventurous spirit.
What ability level do I really need to be for this Adventure?
This tour is rated For All Abilities. No experience is necessary at all. Our basic Vineyard Walks are fairly easy and we have longer hikes for those of you looking for a workout.
For what type of people would you recommend this trip?
We believe taking a vineyard walk vacation is the perfect way to see wine country. Our walks keep you active and give you a much more intimate experience with the grape growing that is at the heart of wine country.
